Most things I create come about because someone asks me to come up with something unique for a special occasion or as a gift of beauty and inspiration. When you need that gift for someone who has everything, we can figure out something beautiful they can't do without! I enjoy working with clients to create new things that speak to them and enhance their well-being.
Paul and Robin have a beach house in Mexico where they make wonderful memories with family and friends. They wanted to communicate the purpose for having this home, which I painted over the large archway. They already had Spanish titles for the rooms and I painted those over each doorway in sand and ocean colors.
My grandparents had their 50th anniversary several years ago and I designed this for them. Their parents, children, and grandchildren are all on there! Each person's birth date is written in a lighter color behind his or her name. Each little drawing is a symbol of something meaningful shared between that family and the grandparents. They tell me it is a fantastic conversation piece and brings them happiness whenever they look at it! A piece like this is a great group gift. The more members, the more ways to split the cost of designing and framing it.
My neighbors had their first child and I made this little gift for them. They ran out and got it framed that day! This lasts a lot longer than baby clothes.
