Everyday Deeds

This is my favorite wall painting to date, done in my sister-in-law’s house in Illinois. They are Tolkien fans and if you look closely you can see his monogram in the design. I did this while our families got together over Thanksgiving break. I sketched it out on copy paper first to work out spacing and style and then sketched it on the wall in chalk. I used colors from the decor in the room. It took me about a day and a half.
